Hey man, I was in a similar situation before rush. I get along with pretty much everyone but always had a hard time making friends that stuck. It sounds like fraternity life might be what you’re looking for. Since joining, I’ve opened up to people in ways I never thought I could. It is a real healthy thing to live in a community of people who have your wellbeing as a priority in their life. When you rush, remember that you are evaluating the frat as much as they are evaluating you. Don’t even think about their evaluating: that’s for them to worry about and your mind should be on honest conversations with brothers about what you are looking for in friendship and in a house.
