Usually around 10 seniors would live in fraternities and a majority of the senior class would still be involved. Now no seniors live in and are barely involved with the house. Having seniors live in is a good thing since they’re a lot more mature, level-headed, prioritized longevity of the house(not getting kicked off), and tended to not drink as often. So when something bad happened during parties or in general, there was always a group of actual sober adults to take care of the situation or give good advice to the newer exec. I think the lack of seniors living in has contributed a lot to fraternities getting kicked off in recent years.
