When you go through recruitment girls have to put on a smile and get you to like them. It’s their job during recruitment. Chances are you going to feel like you had amazing conversations with members, and the members were just waiting for a bell to ring. It has nothing to do with you it just means you didn’t click with them. College and especially recruitment is about finding out who you are. Don’t try to fit into a mold. Some of you might really click with girls in aphi and pi phi and that’s great, there’s amazing girls in those houses. Some of you might walk in a feel like you don’t belong and there is NOTHING wrong with that. The same goes for houses like Dphie and ASA. They have great girls to and if you feel like you would fit in at those houses trust your gut. Everyone always talks about partying and hot guys but every sorority has pairs and you can also get on lists to other fraternities. And hot guys, like let’s get real the majority of boys in college are not worth the ring until their 30. Where ever you end up; whether through informal or formal recruitment go where you feel comfortable, where you feel like you’ll find those forever friends and where you feel like you can grow as a person. In reality those parties won’t be the things you remember in 10 years it’ll be those friendships that last a lifetime. -sorority truths
