Rest assured Aphis executive office does NOT decide who the IU chapter gives bids to! Think how ludicrous that even is....there are 172 active chapters and they are not going to hyper focus on IU! Now, with that being said like all the other sororities they have woman to the house for dinner and house tours PRIOR to recruitment. This is standard for all houses and APhi follows the same Panhellenic guidelines as everyone else. And, like every other house there are leadership consultants from home office to make sure recruitment is running smoothly. These are the same LC's that spend time with every chapter. These consultants are woman that recently graduated and it is a year long, paid position. This is typical of every sorority. Like all the sororities, APhi does have woman in mind that they are interested in. But in the end their recruitment process is no different than anyone else. Good luck to all the PNM's this month!
