I have personally checked into it for our Chapter. Once you disaffiliate the Insurance needed for the chapter changes. Would have made our dues more than triple for our current membership which is somewhere between 110&120. Trust me we want too but don’t see anyway to do it and maintain a house on Jordan. Pretty much what the first poster said is correct but the issues are much bigger than that. It’s a cost factor. Not many guys are gonna want to pay $16-18k a year for housing.
