Saying that iu having 17% Greek life is a small amount is a skewed fact. 17% of a big school like IU is still a lot of students. I don’t know exactly, but there’s somewhere between 6-8k students involved in Greek life. Yea, there’s schools with higher percentages but that is often misleading. For example, Depaw Has the highest percent Greek life in the nation with the school being 70% Greek, but they have an undergraduate size of like 2200 kids. Yes, IU doesn’t have the biggest Greek life in the nation or the most Greek students in the nation but it’s still significant and historical and big on campus
