A lot of these girls are used to being the popular ones from high school and probably always get what they wanted. Now they are on their own and mom and dad can’t fix things. They are going from being top of the food chain in HS to just a regular PNM. They haven’t had to deal with this amount of rejection and facing the fact they are just another number in the madness that is IU rush. You go to school to get an education and they are getting a great lesson in life. The real world is hard and it gets harder. Things don’t always go your way and you need to figure out how to deal with rejection and making the best with what you have to work with. If you think this is hard, wait until you try to get your first job. Not trying to be mean but it’s just the reality of rushing at a large school like IU.
