Coming from a girl in a lower tier sorority, we honestly do not get the same perks as being in a top tier sorority. It’s harder for us to get into parties that aren’t our pairs bc houses that are “better” than us are really weird about that, and it’s harder to meet guys in other houses because we have a really limited number of pairs now because frats got kicked off. Girls in “good” houses can really get in anywhere. That being said I LOVE my friends and my house and wouldn’t change it, and I love the guys I met, but I just wish we had more social opportunities. To say we have the same opportunities as a top house unfortunately is false. But that shouldn’t deter you from picking a house you love even if it is lower tier. Having good friends you get along with and can feel comfortable around and genuinely bond with is the most important thing, and you WILL have fun no matter where you end up
