I go to Alabama— besides the fact that we use normal RFM and quota and guarantee a bid if you make it to pref, I think the big difference is PNM mindset. Girls are so desperate to be greek here that most of them will take a bid from almost any house. It sounds like that’s not the case here. Now we don’t have any unhoused chapters so I can’t speak to that particular challenge. There are issues either way— it’s super hard to manage a 450 member chapter, but it also really sucks to have so many girls go bidless.
