As you go into preference, realize how lucky you are to be invited back to ANY houses you get back. These women see you as potential sisters and that is HUGE as many girls will get nothing back. Joining the sorority I did was the best decision of my collegiate career, and I love my sisters dearly and still talk to them constantly. Trust me when I say that the girls are SO much more important than any party you will go to. Find the right girls for you and it will make all the difference. ALL of the Panhellenic chapters are wonderful no matter what “tier”. When I rushed, I got chapters back that were very different for one another and as cliche as it sounds, you have to follow your gut and your heart. It’s a hard process, but it’s worth it tenfold.
