All DPhiE needs is time and love. Their sisterhood is what matters. If they wish to remain on IU's campus with lower numbers, it has been done before by many groups on other campuses. DPhiE was third of four new groups, two of whom apparently have housing in the works. Take a look at the situation some AEPhi/Sigma Delta Tau/Phi Sig chapters have on large campuses: they do not formal recruit, they intentionally take smaller pledge classes, they get along in the sorority world at their own pace and ease. I believe DPhiE has every intention of staying on IU's campus. Realistically, there is no current alternative 'large national' sorority that would come to IU. Tri Sigs already have four new/recolonized chapters at large schools to care for and house. Alpha Sigma Tau may not have enough local alum help and/or finances to make a chapter worthwhile. Phi Sigs did not present an interest in IU in 2011, when the other groups were stacked to come on board, and even they have some large, new chapters to attend. 3d won't be back here for at least five years. So consider the options and please stick with the DPhiE's who want to be here and are willing to make it work.
