Your friendships need to grow organically and be natural. We can smell someone who's using us just as an in from a mile away. Get involved with groups and interests you're passionate about and make friends there you have common interests with. Also keep in touch with current friends and those you met during recruitment who received bids and let them know you're still interested. Don't go to frat parties and bars, especially if you get sloppy or hook up randomly. You don't want to get a rep as that girl because no amount of friends in a house can help you with that.
