If you don't like IU, then by all means take your sorry ass out of here. This is not a second rate university, there are several programs nationally known: business, SPEA, music, journalism, informatics, etc. The Big Ten is known for large state universities that create a lot of research. You sound like a bitter jerk who didn't get into Northwestern and is still butt hurt. I applied to two only schools: IU and a lesser Ivy. I wanted IU all the way from an early age and made sure I was able to get in as an in state student. When you get out into the world and out of your Chicago suburb you'll find out that IU is respected throughout the country. People might know us for basketball and Little 500, but we hold our own with most other large public universities. Go Hoosiers and Go IU.
