Part of what really makes Mizzou's recruitment competitive is that girls get their hears set on certain houses and when they have the bottom three left, they drop out. That is why half the girls who go through don't get bids. Mizzou has way more girls who drop than IU does. However, since Mizzou uses RFM and quota/total girls who maximize their options at pref get placed as a quota addition. At IU, you can go to pref and not get a bid, which rarely happens at other schools.
