I am from Indianapolis and pledged at Mizzou, where there are 15 sororities and about half of the girls going through rush don't make it into a house. I am hoping to transfer to IU as a sophomore, but I am wondering how common that is and whether I will be able to make friends since I am not part of a pledge class. Also, at Mizzou our pledge classes are about 75 girls and we only get to live in the house one year. How is that different from IU? I plan to contact my chapter at IU, but I don't want to come across as stupid and would like to know a bit about Greek life at IU so that I don't stick my foot in my mouth.
