I'm an incoming freshman and I'm pretty nervous about rushing because of the horror stories I've heard about greek life in general. I'm one of the few that only wants to do it for the academics, philanthropy, connections, sisterhood, etc. I don't care about popularity or partying hard or the frat guys, and I'm not about to fk with hazing at all. I've looked into the sororities and looked at a few articles and websites and thought I had a good general idea (of course without meeting any of the chapters yet) but then I found this website and everyone is totally bashing each other so now I'm lost again. I know I can make new opinions during rush week when I meet everyone, but who's to say, if I get a bid, I'll get a good one that doesn't turn rotten after the "glamour" of rush week is over? Help?
