I could be wrong and probably I am wrong. But it might have something to do with where the chapter house is located. Is it on campus, or off campus. If it is located on fraternity row or the graham cracker, that is on campus. There are others. But some chapter houses are off campus. I’m pretty sure AGR is off campus. So is Theta Chi. Some fraternities prefer party houses so they don’t destroy the main chapter house. Hope this helps.
