The top tier sororities have many many times the amount of people interested in a bid than they actually have room for. When they turn away 75% or more of the potential PNM why would they take you over a "hot" girl that increases their reputation.? The only exception to that might be Theta if your daddy's wallet is a lot bigger than your waistline, but we are talking a billionaire since probably 99% of the student's that attend USC already have millionaire parents.
