Subject:
regret not rushing panhel as a freshman/sophomore

Poster Message:
I didn’t really understand rush my freshman year and ended up rushing a MGC sorority early sophomore year. I made it to the final round but didn’t receive a bid. Since then, I’ve gotten to know some people in Panhel Greek life and really like the sense of community, so I’ve been considering COB or spring rush. I also feel like Panhel might be a better fit for me socially because of the larger chapter sizes. This spring I reached out to a few Panhel sororities about COB. I submitted a COB interest form for one I’m especially interested in, but I haven’t heard back yet (it’s been less than a week), so I’m not sure if they’re still reviewing or if it’s a rejection. I’m starting to feel a bit discouraged since I’ll be a junior next semester and worry I may have missed my opportunity. Is rushing as a junior realistic? And in general, what are common reasons someone might be unsuccessful with COB or rush? Any insight is appreciated :)
