Here is some advice I was given 1. Each business frat believes they are the top house, so if you throw shade at the others when given the chance, they will look at you more favorably. 2. Biz frat = greek life. If you are involved in a social frat/ sorority talk about that a lot, mention the house by name specifically. Add as much fluff into your role in the house as possible (even if it is just a member, make something up) 3. DO NOT SHOW MUCH PERSONALITY. Business frats are looking for people interested in professional development, not drunks. They love hearing about what you do in your greek life house, but you must remain very uptight and confident when you talk. You must make it clear you are better than the rest (or at least think you are). 4. They want high earners. They will ask you about what you want to do within business, make it clear you want a high paying job no matter what. Say how you will be a CEO or CFO one day in a fortune 500 company. If they ask to elaborate, just say you will work your way up, that should more than suffice. 5. Know your resume. They will ask you a lot about it, and you should be prepared to explain everything you put down. Place as much emphasis as you can on high school sports if you are a freshman, if you are a sophomore, lean into any Intramural sports you play. 6. Mention your connections. At the end of the day, all the people in a business frat just want to get jobs after graduation more than anything. If you have a family member or a friends parent who is an executive somewhere, MENTION THAT!! Say how you plan to get some sort of internship at that company, and how you could definitely get other people in the business frat set up after graduation if YOU CHOOSE to accept their bid.
