First of all, keep in mind that sorority prestige/rank is not really important here after maybe sophomore year, and definitely not after you graduate. That is different than some Southern schools. Also this is a smart school (avg ACT 29 for class of 2023) so anywhere you go you will meet girls with bright futures who will be good proffessional contacts. Now on another note, related to rank. With your experience at a prominent house, you are in a position to potentially help this relatively new chapter become more established and popular. Some of the girls might be a bit socially awkward and not as stylish. If you give them pointers and help them be a bit more refined, don't you think you will have women who will be your good friend for life? As opposed to some other house, where you will be just another chick to get drunk with for a couple of years. Food for thought, it's a friendly school, you will probably enjoy Champaign no matter what path you choose :)
