@OP, Acacia can hang in there in a while, but long term activity as an unrecognized house is doubtful. At some point nationals will shut them down, if not alums. They have no recognition from the university, but also no protection. When they finally do shut down, the standard is to wait 4 years before restarting. Can't put it off forever.
