They will bring in actives from other chapters for rush just like ADPI. The problem is if you really bond with someone who’s rushing you -you know that she doesn’t go to your school and she will not be in your house. You will not know the personality of Theta and what their culture is as a PNM. This will only be established after the newest member class. If they recruit any current sophomores or juniors, those are girls who have likely gone through the rush process before and either did not get a bid or dropped out because they didn’t get the house that they wanted. You can anticipate that Theta will rank in the lower half of houses after this first rush it just depends on where. A lot has happened in four years. No one cares about their legacy at SMU. The PNM’s will be focused on what the current reputations are of the existing houses. It will take years for Theta to recover, if they ever recover.
