That is not true and the above commenter does not know what they are talking about. SMU follows RFM for NPC sorority recruitment like every other campus. The number of pnm's has absolutely NOTHING to do with getting a bid. There is never a predetermined number of bids or nm class size, it is all based on RFM percentages. The more pnm's going through recruitment means more bids and bigger classes. Girls who don't get bids have dropped out of rush by choice. The only thing hard and competitive is trying to get a bid as a non freshman because there are no separate quotas during fall formal. This is bound to be introduced at some point though. Things are changing at SMU because of fall rush and more girls coming from OOR who don't care about PKT. Not that there is a T right now...
