It is a chapter decision and every sorority has their own method of voting but they are all similar. But you are asking the wrong question. There is nothing to know about the way sororities vote during membership selection that would help a pnm in rush. You need only worry about things you can control, and that's basically just you. If you are rushing next year as a sophomore your chances of getting a bid are very low. Freshmen are far more desired and the only sophomores that stand a chance would be super well-known by a chapter with friends in the house. Your best bet is COB this year. Chapters have openings after December graduation. Get to know members this semester from your dorm, your classes, at parties, game days, however you can.
