GPA depends

Poster Message:
It depends where you fall within the pool of the pnm's going through recruitment. If your GPA is substantially lower than the average then you would be at a disadvantage, so it just depends on what shows up this year. But any chapter will take a lower GPA than their 'minimum' if there is something else exceptional in a pnm to balance it out. A 3.4 with involvement should be just fine this year and give you choices for Philanthropy, and that's really the only time you need to worry about it. After that it's about the in-person rounds. You also have to keep in mind that every chapter is given the number of pnm's they can invite back to each round by panhellenic. These numbers are based on percentages of the number of pnm's in the process and are adjusted at each round. The chapters rank their pnm's and then panhellenic assigns their number and the pnm's that are above that cutoff will be invited to the next round.
