There is every flavor of sorority. Some are VERY vain, others aren't. You should start the bid process and see which is a good fit for you. Are some based on looks? You can absolutely count on it. But some are much less hung up on that and are just looking for members that are like minded. Some a mix of both. As far as your AMEX comment, it's not cheap.
