This is going to be a super competitive rush with so many frats being kicked off in the past year or two. There is the same amount, if not more, kids looking to join greek life. Freshman set themselves on top tiers for the clout, and end up only going to those houses for zone days and events. That is what is referred to as a "suicide rush". This limits options, and will leave a ton of kids bidless at the end of rush week. The "tier" of a fraternity does not effect its brotherhood whatsoever, and brotherhood should be your main consideration when joining a fraternity. See as many houses as you can on zone day. Every single one is going to give off its own vibe, so go where you feel like you will enjoy the brothers the most. See as many houses as possible, show up with an open mind, otherwise you run the risk of not having any options come bid dinner. Good luck to all the SP20 kids, and make sure you go somewhere not for the clout, but somewhere where you genuinely like the people there, or it will be a rough 3 years.
