So a lot of freshmen don't really seem to know specifically what the rushing process is like to get a bid. Most only know that you make an impression and if they like you, you get a bid. But there seems to be so much more to it than that. Here are some questions, and also feel free to add. How long should I spend at zones? What are they like? What should I wear? After zones, what happens? If I went to 10 zones and liked them equally, how do I decide which events to go to? And how can I truly know if I'll get a bid or if I'm wasting my time? Go to zones, then rush events, then bid? What is rush actually like and will I hate it as it happens during the week? How much should I contact brothers? Should I reach out to presidents of the fraternity (listed on IFC email slides somewhere) if I am really interested? And what if I can't make it to their zone, should I also contact them? Again, feel free to add. Be as specific as possible please. I want every person rushing to not be confused and know what to expect.
