Idk how to reply to one person directly but yeah… theta, axo, pi phi, usually compete for the same girls. At least looking at the past 2-3 years, not sure before that. Maybe OP was commenting about aphi a few years ago? They did compete with kappa and axo for specific sports teams but less so in the past year or so. That’s why rankings and top houses are fake, your perception is clearly on the house itself not the girls in it. The same group of girls could go kappa and you think they’re bottom house material, but the second the same group steps into aphi, they’re top. Two of my best friends were torn between axo and theta, and ended up going different ways and apparently that was one of the most common splits last year. Sorry for the hit to a top houses ego, but that makes sense because they’re both super academic focused and heavily involved on campus usually. The other splits being kappa and theta surprisingly, and another they mentioned being axo and pi phi.
