I'm in the same exact position as you, where I am looking into joining but am not sure if itll be worth it. Honestly I think I'm going to ride out the process until after the invite only, figure out the vibe I'm getting from other women there, and then make my decision after the bid email. Apparently there has been a large interest in AXO this semester, and I know many pretty/smart/fun girls were dropped during formal so I think AXO has a chance. The consultants continue to stress how they are not compromising on quality for quantity. Its obvious going to attract women who truly want a sorority experience and aren't afraid to put work into the chapter. Formals/mixers/events have already been planned or are beginning to, so there will definitely be a social aspect. But it comes down to the girls who end up joining and how active they make it out to be. I think if enough quality girls take the risk and believe in making a difference it could be a really great chapter soon enough.
