The rush pool has shrunk a bit in the last two years, resulting in fewer spots available for each sorority making it somewhat competitive. Doing primary recruitment remains the most reliable way to join a sorority as it ensures you will meet with all sororities. During primary recruitment, rush classes usually range in 20-25 or more depending if there is a high number of girls signing up. Continuous open bidding can be somewhat unpredictable and less efficient. Not every sorority participates in COB at all times which can cause you to miss out on meeting with certain sororities. Some sororities have only a few spots available which will fill up quickly. Also some girls find it hard to find a group or fit in if they join through COB. Good luck and be open minded about each sorority during rush!
