Two other things: 1) Yes, it's more fun to rush with a buddy group, but don't ever come across as part of a package deal with anyone else. This never works out and will get you dropped from a house that could be a good fit for you. You and your best friend/roommate can stay just as good friends in different houses. 2) While the older guys rushing you set the tone for the chapter, it's your pledge class that you will be closest with for the next four years and beyond. Look around at the other guys rushing with you, some of them will end up being your pledge brothers and the ones that will make or break your entire fraternity experience. Take that into careful consideration.
