<strong>Subject:</strong><br />recruitment tips for pnms!!<br /><br /> Poster Message:
Just thought I’d share some quick tips for pnms for recruitment. I was super nervous beforehand because I was unsure of some things so hopefully this helps. Actives please feel free to add! Get to the buses early! the first couple days especially there is a super long line. Bring a big bag of stuff to your holding house that’ll make you comfortable (you’ll probably be sitting on the floor). pillows, blankets, food, books, coloring books, knitting etc. you can leave that stuff at the holding house while you’re going to parties. For parties just bring your coat, shoes (comfy shoes for walking and shoes you’ll wear in the houses) and your notecards. You’ll leave this stuff outside the houses during the parties. They recommend you bring a watch (because you won’t have your phones) and I freaked out because my watch was dead lol. Turns out you don’t really need one, so if you don’t have one don’t stress. The rho gammas will tell you when to leave the holding house for each party. Mints, cough drops, make up, blotting sheets, floss for after you eat are all good things to have on hand even if you think you don’t need them. Some girls use mouthwash before each round but that can really hurt your mouth so mints are good. Oak lane is super easy to find your way around, you figure it out after the first day. Also, (kind of more of an opinion) when picking outfits don’t worry about matching the other girl. Wear the stuff you really like because that’s the stuff that lets your personality come through. If you have any questions go ahead and ask em here as well! Or ask your rho gams that’s what they’re there for!
