Pnm's that a chapter likes just fine are dropped all the time simply because of numbers. That's just the way it is. It doesn't mean they weren't 'wanted', they just weren't ranked high enough to make the chapter's assigned cut off. Plenty of members get upset when their favorite pnm's don't return, it's brutal and emotional on both sides but everyone has to get on with it anyway. But pnm's have no way of knowing if they just missed a cutoff or if they were ranked very low or whatever. The point is, that house released them and is no longer an option, so don't focus on it (I know that's hard because it stings) and look more fairly at your actual options because that's what you have if you want to be in a sorority.
