Alums in my family- Yes- mom & GM say that historically Pi Phi has always been the top /best sorority on campus. DG & XO were good but never took many girls from Pi Phi. They say that AOPi, AXO, PhiMu and APhi all folded and then the two of them returned. I wonder why DDD didn’t advance up the tiers? Generally the new or recolonizing chapters have to start at the bottom again. Lack of support? Tri Delta has a very strong National recognition and reputation.
