The job hunting process is a great analogy! The sororities are the companies and the pnm's are the applicants. pnm's submit their application and the sororities decide who they want to interview. Not all job applicants get face to face interviews and not all applicants make it past the first, second, or third round of interviews. At the end of the process, a sorority will offer their bids, and ultimately that's when the pnm's can decide to take them or not through their pref rankings and whether they accept the bid or not. I know this process can be brutal, but this is the real world, welcome to adulting.
