I agree with the above posts and unfortunately there is a mentality that pnm's get to pick houses. This process is really no different than a job interview in my opinion. Sororities choose members that they think are a good fit from a large pool of candidates. The bottom line is there is often a mentality with pnm’s that they are “too good” for a house and drop out of recruitment when they are dropped from houses that they percieve as higher ranked. This is very sad because it results in girls missing out all together on an amazing experience. Also, Boulder is sort of an anomaly in greeklife because so many girls are friends with girls in other houses and I don’t feel that there is a hierarchy that you see in other schools. Open to opnions on this.
