Hey girl!! I would say the biggest thing is to go in with an open mind!! Being a junior means you would realistically be in the chapter for <2 years vs freshmen who would be retained for longer, so rush can be a bit more challenging with rush classes getting larger and more competitive. Dont think this will set you back though! You just need one house to get to Bid day! I think also understand that your pledge sisters are going to also be freshmen/the girls in your pi chi group so try not to think too deeply on comparing yourself or your schedule to theirs. No one has the same rush experience!!!! To help set yourself apart, I would really suggest you have a clean and cute instagram so you're on the radar of the chapters! Follow them all on insta and if you want to make an even better impression, I would suggest following a few girls in your year/the president. It’s so important that you find a way to make an impression among 2,000+ girls rushing in the fall, so start now!! If you have any friends in greek life currently, ask to gran coffee with them and talk about rush! It’s also important to get a perspective from someone currently in the chapter and you are at auburn!! Use that to your advantage!!! Get involved, meet new people, etc!! But I will say, don’t assume that just because you have a friend in a chapter guarantees you a bid to that chapter!! Good luck! Lean on your support system and pi chi during recruitment!!
