Everything is so true on all of these posts and I'm loving this thread. There is so much honesty and wisdom here. I'm a senior in another "top" house and I came to campus with quite a few of my H.S. classmates, one who pledged Zeta. She and I have remained good friends but I have to say I've heard A LOT about the inner workings of Zeta and most of it isn't great. From an outsider's perspective Zeta looks like it would be hard to stick with and I can see why many people don't care for them. It's not jealousy, it's that they want to avoid the drama. This friend has a handful of close friends in the house - mostly her "family" - and she also wishes the atmosphere was more sisterly and less competitive.
