If you hate Greek life and sororities so much, why are you here? Why do you care? To the OP, there's no way of knowing. GPA could be a reason; it's the main reason someone would get released everywhere. Could also be the questions you asked. When I rushed, I thought I was supposed to ask about their events with fraternities and about their symbols. Didn't realize until I was in a chapter that asking about boys is a big no-no and asking about symbols seems like I'm fishing for info on ritual. I was lucky and found a great house but there may be something like that you never thought of. Each house has to sift through hundreds of people and so even little stuff like that can sometimes make the difference.
