SO.... we can't exactly compare Charlie Kirk (a hateful person who was causing harm to millions) to George Floyd (an innocent man killed for the color of his skin). That is not fair. Let us remember that there were no riots after six people were killed and 13 others wounded, including Rep. Gabrielle Gifford by a Republican, or when 13 republicans were arrested for plotting to kidnap Dem Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, or when Mayor Craig Greenberg was almost assassinated or when Nancy Pelosi's husband, Paul Pelosi, was attacked with a hammer in his home by a Republican, or in 2024 when a Republican lawmaker tried to have several Dems killed in New Mexico, or when Kamala Harris's campaign office was shot at 3 times, or this year when a Republican tried to kill Democratic Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, or a couple of months ago when a Republican murdered Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband. Let us not be hypocritical here. Violence is never the answer and we cannot get through this as a country by pointing fingers. Mr. Kirk was not a good man but that does not justify what happened to him. And there is nothing classy about this country anymore. We need to work together or Democracy looses and we are all screwed (this is coming from a Christian Independent).
