I am reposting this since someone paid to have it taken down which is ironic and proves the point...get out you wallets alum-mums! "Can I just say what we are all thinking… stop self ranking your houses. UF is a top SEC school with an incredible Greek life and ALL of our frats/sororities are top tier (all the houses have hundreds of thousands of members nationwide, have multi million dollar properties, and the sororities at UF all average GPAs of 3.5-3.6 for all of the houses). The self-serving student ranking of sororities and fraternities on this site is ridiculous. Everyone just self ranks their houses as “top” but this ends up creating a paradox (the more genuine houses who are not on this site self ranking get dumped on by the more superficial houses that self rank). Also the idea of ranking is just based on outdated stereotypes and it’s harmful to all of our reputations. Ranking Greek orgs assumes that there's a one-size-fits-all standard of what makes a “good” chapter but Greek life isn't the same for everyone and not everyone is looking for the same experience—it’s about finding a home where you feel supported, respected, and empowered and again by measurable non-biased data all the houses at UF are “top” houses in the US so let’s try to build a stronger community overall so UF becomes known for its “top tier” Greek life and not all of the drama. If you are on here trying to figure out which are the “top” houses don’t bother. It is all fake, go in and meet everyone for yourself and make up your own mind."
