this is mad dumb and just WRONG. you know how many girls rerush and get into top and middle houses????? SO many. a lot of girls rerush with more confidence, more connections, more involvement, etc. No chapter cares enough to keep a list of girls who got dropped and are re-rushing. The only girls that “sororities remember” & get dropped in a case like this are girls who rushed and dropped before initiation. then they will probably not be asked back to the house they dropped to rerush. Most other houses don’t care tho and don’t keep tabs on girls like that like if u pledged DG stayed in the house for a few weeks but dropped before initiation and re rush, DG is going to drop you after round 1 bc they know you didn’t want them. but the other houses don’t really care. ik plenty of girls that rerushed— from girls who got into houses but realized it wasn’t a good fit to girls who didn’t get bids their freshman years but pledged great houses. unless a girl is literally crazy with a nasty rep then most girls rerush super successfully.
