The synopsis of this thread is that 1) the OP, @Freshman, is mistaken about how the next round works, 2) a commenter, @Q, who is not associated with a sorority at all, is mistaken about how any of this works, 3) other people with their own agendas, not associated with a sorority, are piling on and believing that these mistaken things are true, 4) alumnae are mistaken about how bid matching works these days with Quota Plus, 5) other people are misusing the word 'pref', which in sorority speak only refers to the very last round of two parties, called Preference Parties, and does not refer to a PNM's particular degree of liking each sorority, 6) people who actually know what they are talking about but can't be heard over the ignorant mob. I think that's about right.
