@Q, what is the other option? You get a bid from house that you didn’t pref at? If you aren’t preffing at a house it is because the house cut you or you cut them. It is about the choices YOU make. Would it be fair to accept a bid at a house you didn’t go to pref at as you would take a spot away from a girl who did pref there? This is why your ranking matters. It isn’t a moronic process, it is the most fair process.
