They are considered a lower house, but that being said I think it is time for UF to broaden what they consider middle. Here only a handful of houses, piphi, kat, dz, deeph, and xo are truly and consistently considered middle. That leaves a BUNCH of houses labeled as bottom. Even FSU seems to only have 3 clear bottom houses. With the addition of more sororities at UF, I think it is time to consider any chapter not in the bottom 3 to be considered middle. Do we think our houses suck so much that we have to shove SEVEN houses in our bottom tier? Personally think Kappa, AXO, PM, AEPHI should be considered (lower) middle these days. Having less bottom sororities makes our Greek system stronger in the long run, since more girls are interested in joining if they are not going to be labelled “bottom tier.” I think it is telling that OP’s question revolves around kappa’s tier rather than their sisterhood, tiers do matter to people...why are we so determined to shove down as many chapters as possible to the lowest rung??
