Hey y'all, I'm a freshman who regrets not rushing. I didn't rush in fall due to financial reasons but I just got a job and plan to save this semester for upcoming house dues. I just have a couple questions about spring rush for any actives. What houses are doing spring rush this year? Additionally, I've met some great girls from bottom, top, and middle tiers and some girls I connect with less from all over the ranks. I'm looking to meet friends, not go to the best tailgates or have formals with the best houses, if that's my goal does rank magter as much? Lastly, how understanding is your sorority about financial struggles and how do they accommodate for those of us less economically advantaged? I might have to rush without parent approval since my parents are dead set on me not rushing due to money. I'm trying to change their minds but if not, I still plan to rush and just try to save for dues now and put anything leftover on a credit card and so slow payments. It's not ideal but I really don't know if my parents will let me and I already regret not doing fall rush.
