generally, officers may come up to you either (1) to get a "closer look" at you or (2) to make an impression on you because the chapter is interested in you or (3) just to be polite because you are a legacy. OR, a combo of all of these. I wouldn't look too much into it either way. Focus more on your conversations with the women recruiting you.
