This post is crap. I was in a middle tier sorority and I have had a huge amount of success in my involvement at UF and beyond. Good opportunities in every chapter, and at the end of the day, your success will depend on your intrinsic motivation. Also consider the national reputation and strength of the sorority you want to join. Connections throughout the country will be strong if you join a strong national organization, and many UF graduations leave the state of Florida or have clients outside of Florida. Often, I have found that people who were "handed" positions at UF because they were in a certain chapter did a poor job in the position and honestly didn't learn what hard work means.
